Raven's First Vet Visit

Update on Raven (Sneak a Wink) We took Raven today for her first visit with our vet. Nothing was wrong we just wanted to give him her shot records and have her meet him. Dr. Gates is so kind and loving. He was amazed at how much muscle Raven has and how beautiful her teeth were. He rechecked her for parasites and worms and thank god she is all clear.She weighed in at 57.8 pounds and Dr. Gates said that would be a good weight for her to stay around. All together it was a great visit and Raven didnt have any negative effects from it, she seemed to have bonded well with the doc. Raven is doing remarkable with housebreaking and making herself right at home. As soon as I can figure out how to download some pictures I will post them. Thanks again to everyone. Karen

That is great! I have to say too, that when we took our hound, Hollie, for her "meet and greet" visit with her vet, he said the same about her teeth. He was pretty impressed that GPA makes the effort to do a dental cleaning on them. He said he didn't think most of them took the time to do that and he was very pleased about it.

Glad her housebreaking is going well too. I was a little worried about Hollie, but she seems to get it now. Goes to the door and everything. So that's good. Hope you are enjoying Raven.

Carolyn I am so glad Hollie resolved her housebreaking issues. Some train faster than others. Raven is definately a character. She has a great personality. Your Hollie is the twin to my other greyhound Ally same coloring. Karen
